How do I configurerouter for multiple APs

Thu Feb 24, 2005 12:05 am

I'm very new at this. I'm trying to connect several APs to one router. I've set up Hotspot and it is working perfectly fine. The only problem is that can only connect one AP to the router. My interface "wlan1" is set to mode station, and I can only connect to it if I connect to an AP from the router. If my PC is connected to the AP that the router is connected to, the Hotspot works. But if I connect to another AP I can't even ping the router. Please help me. Sould my wlan1 be set to a different mode, and how do I connect AP's to the router.

sorted that out

Wed Mar 09, 2005 2:36 pm

Hi, i sorted out that issue. My problem now is that i cant connect to the hotspot and access the internet when i enable wep security on the router. The network cards connect to my ap's "senao" but i dont get an ip from the router anymore. If i disable wep throught the devices it works again. Hmm im tired... :)
