Mon Feb 25, 2008 8:43 am

Hi!
i monitor the LOG and see many messages that i don't know complete meaning.
BEfore i receive automatic trying accesss via SSH (you see in red) and can't explain why i'm receiving it. is normal?
i have a firewall by netgear but i had opened port 22 for SSH.
So please look trying to connect of MAC that is not listed into access list. please clarify the last lines, that have been repeated long time... i read BANNED but i look that tring of this MAC and others are repeated...
so if you know a manual of log error messages please let us know
many tks

This means,
someone trying to login in to your router thru SSH from outside network.

You can disable it
/ip service, disabled the ssh services, or in address, you can have allow only your network.

I have a similar problem......... both SSH and FTP intruders every 2 seconds.
If I disable SSH and FTP it only works for SSH not FTP.
Hope this not will end up with all diabled :(
