Fix: plug the cf card or hdd in other (older) computer, configure ethernet and downgrade to version 3.2 or 3.3. Plug back the cf or hdd to the prior system. And... wait for 3.5

What hardware are you using?
please make the support output file from the routers when it is running fine with v3.3, so we could check what specific configuration or hardware does it have.
If you reinstall fresh v3.4 on that hardware does it boot?
Send that file to support@mikrotik.com

I will make and send the supout, but i can't to do fresh install because the router is in production and is remote. It was already a pain bring it to live again, 55 minutes on the phone.

Have a number of x86 PoweRouters with CF, and so far no issues.

As another topic created before, I´ve noticed a problem when upgrading my intel pentium D box from 3.3 to 3.4.

The system freezes on the Loading boot message.
Needed to install 3.3 using iso image to recover. So after I did some tests, but none has successful.

I tried the following steps:

Back on 3.3, disabled the support of multi-cpu
Upgraded to 3.4 again and.. CRASH!
Back on 3.3, I´ve generated the supout attached on this message.

Hoping a fast and positive answer from mikrotik team, cause I use this box as webcaching, and need to upgrade to 3.4 cause the src-address issue on the olders version than this new one.

best regards,

vince

We had the same exact problem. And we duplicated it several times on seperate CF and iso installs.

We have 3 powerrouter732. They run an Intel SBC8a820 mainboard with pentium 4 3000 HT, 512GB DDR2, standard 64MB flash. Definately a problem with 3.4, HT, and compact flash. So, question is, where can I get an iso of 3.3 so I can get back in operation?
