We use Dual Quad 2.4 Gigers. 5130s I think. Without issues on our PowerRouter 2282s..

Dear all,

I have tried with Mikrotik OS v 3.2 and it worked. But if i used v 3.7, the process stopped when loading to Mikrotik OS. Maybe someone from Mikrotik can answer this question?

Thank you.

Try
/system hardware set multi-cpu=no

Now ftp up (or paste via winbox) the 3.7 packages you use.

We have found 3.4 works on an E4600 processor but only a single core. If you upgrade to 3.7 you must have multi-cpu off or else it will freeze on bootup. I've opened a ticket with Mikrotik Support about this issue. Latest Intel Bios, Intel Motherboard, and E4600 processor. Only reason why 3.4 worked with multi-cpu=yes is because even with it set to yes, it still only detected a single core, where at 3.7 detects both cores but fails to boot.

the kernel was updated between these versions, so probably that's causing this problem. we have to wait for a fix in the kernel. check kernel.org
