/tool bandwidth-test command bug?¿?

Fri Jun 20, 2008 9:44 pm

Hi,

When I execute /tool bandwidth-test command with these parameters from a MikroTik (to which I connect the PC through a ssh connection with public/private keys) to another MikroTik

[admin-ssh@MikroTik] /ip neighbor> /tool bandwidth-test 192.168.1.1 duration=60s direction=both local-udp-tx-size=1500 remote-udp-tx-size=1500 user=admin password=****

It doesn't end properly...it finishes with the following return string: bad id

status: running
duration: 25s
tx-current: 11.9Mbps
tx-10-second-average: 12.8Mbps
tx-total-average: 18.4Mbps
rx-current: 97.1Mbps
rx-10-second-average: 94.3Mbps
rx-total-average: 59.4Mbps
lost-packets: 8
random-data: no
direction: both
tx-size: 1500
rx-size: 1500

bad id

Has someone had the same problem...? Anyway...please some of Mikrotik guys can confirm whether is that a bug or not...and why is that command failing? Thanks,

bandwidth test uses same logins as router. that user must have the winbox permission i believe.

I created an admin-bw-test with the minimum permissions to do bandwidth test that are: winbox and test permissions. However it also failed... so any more ideas? If there is a real problem with RouterOS, could guys from MikroTik confirm that?
