Update to 3.11... Kernel Panic!!

Tue Jul 15, 2008 11:39 am

Hi, I've tried to update from 3.10x86 (PIII 800 - MB supermicro) to 3.11 but SURPRISE!!

"Loading system with initrd
uncompressing linux... ok. Booting the Kernel
execve 00000002
kernel panic - not syncing - attempted to kill init"

What happens?

Hi Janisk,

I've re-installed 3.10 from CD (keep config) and router now work... You think the problem came only when I update my router?

I can try to reload 3.11 from CD and restore saved configuration...

if you can, please try ftp update again, if that fails, than 3.11 cd installation.
