bad driver for realtek lan card in 3.14
it dosent work good and hang the lan card
it was work good with 3.13
and when i downgrad it come back work good again

At this point you are obviously very pleased that MT labelled this release as RC1, and you have undoubtedly reported this 'bug' to support as well as publishing on the forum???

Using the RC format for prospective releases is only going to work if everone plays the game, right?

Personally, I really, really, REALLY want MT to continue to use the 'RC' format in interim releases to differentiate between something that is ready for production and something that is proposed for production.

It sucks to have to guess the difference....

completly agree... I requested this from them in a private meeting at Chicago MUM... I'm VERY glad to see they have finally started doing it!

i had these issue too, i posted in the "oficial" r3.14RC1 post.. i had to downgrade to 3.13

with low traffic the network card works, with something like 500kbps the whole mikrotik hangs and freeze , even via serial.

For which realtek chip this problem occurs, for 8139 I have no problems as such.

Anybody knows if this has been fixed in the final 3.14 release? The changelog says nothing about it.

n1 tested the realtek issue with the 3.14 final..?
