Greetings to all !

I have been trying unsuccessfully to get Cisco VPN client ver 4.x running on a win XP machine to connect to an RB450 with l2tp/ipsec.
I can connect using the buildin Win XP l2tp/ipsec VPN networking but the Cisco VPN client fails.
From the logs it looks like it fails as it receives no response for the IKE requests it places.

Has anyone been successful in using the Cisco VPN client with mtik as a VPN server?
If yes, could you please share the configs/tips/info

This isn't going to work. The Cisco client is only for use with Cisco VPN concentrators, PIX and ASAs.
