tunneling two mikrotik routers together

Tue Jan 27, 2009 8:08 am

Hello,

at my home i have adsl with one (1) dynamic ip address. I need to have static ip addresses at my home, so i am planning on co-locating a mikrotik routerboard in a datacenter/noc that can supply static ip addresses for me. I would like to tunnel two routerboards together for this purpose.

Can anyone help me with how to make this happen?

use pptp tunnel for that and use your routerboard at home to dial out to your router indatacenter, so you will always able to get to.

see manual page for tunnels (pptp)
