I was just wondering if those changes to the 450G mean that ports 2-5 can be used like a hardware switch now? I purchased one of these last week and was disappointed to find that this functionality was not supported even though it is supported in the 450 (non-G).

dprus: can't you use any MT router as a switch ? simply make a bridge between the port witch you want to use as switch and done.

Got problems installing ROS-3.22 from an .iso - when it goes to creating partitions and formating them - kernel panics. Tryed it on various hardware (x86 like hw). Tryed out ROS-3.20 .iso - this one worked without problems.

.npk files look a little different, most probably because of small changes to package format, that's why you can't access them through dude :)

NetInstall over Demo and No License on VMware works, but fresh install freezes on 'Harddrive found', 100% CPU load, flashing with Caps Lock and Scroll Lock...

Early announcements are problematic. Noone buys the existing stuff cause you dont want to buy old things
and noone buys the new stuff cause it's not yet available. So what do you expect from MT?

Yes, I tested this with a RB450G and it is fixed. Any of the ports 1-5 can be assigned to a master port. The master port can be any port 2-5. Port 1 cannot be a master.

RouterOS 3.22 has been released today.
What's new in 3.22:
--cut--
*) added '/interface ethernet print stats' command for RB450G and RB750;
--cut--
This is a feature that I have been asking for. Will be really nice when it works. Right now it just prints out a list of register names and all values are 0 and stay at 0.

There is OSPFv3 bug in v3.22.. When simple or tree queue added, OSPFv3 shutdowns..

Log snapshot when disabling simple queue rule:

simple queue changed by dude
OSPFv3 neighbor 10.38.0.1: state change from Full to Down
OSPFv3 neighbor 10.38.0.2: state change from Full to Down
OSPFv3 neighbor 10.38.0.3: state change from Full to Down

It's not just in Dude.
In winbox you get the same results.
Auto-upgrade does not recognize the 3.22 packages. Tested with routeros-mipsbe-3.22.npk and routeros-x86-3.22.npk.
If I put the 3.22 file on the server and refresh auto-upgrade it comes back blank.
If I put the 3.20 file on the server and refresh auto-upgrade it comes back as installed.

I thought I was just imagining, but now that you're mentioning it....

I wanted to do a Netinstall with 3.22 earlier today. The 3.22 packages didn't show up in the list to choose the packages, while all other versions 3.20, 3.19, appeared.

With version 3.20 i have a strange problem.....
RB433AH with 3 wireless interfaces R52H. I use to provide service at 2.4
I configured routerboard and it works, clients authenticate them self's over PPPoE.
But now all the clients that connect using wpa are unstable.
ON RB433AH with 3.20 they connect, disconnect... Any idea or experience???
I upgrade RB with OS3.22 and I hope that this problem will disappear. Any suggestion will be helpful.

Thank You

I found the same with the auto-upgrade. The upgrade works fine when I uploaded the packages with ftp to the routers. But no 3.22 packages in the auto-upgrade list.

You have to download the new Netinstall to use new packages.

The Dude will also be updated.

"/system upgrade" will be fixed in next release.

In pppoe client's configuration specify all three interfaces. But it will not work if your provider doesn't have this feature.
