How to bridge l2tp virtual interface with eth port?

Fri Apr 10, 2009 11:22 am

Hi, this is my problem... I need to connect a central office with remote locations with ADSL/HDSL connections... I've followed instructions of a wiki article (PPTP VPN - multiple ADSL remote locations to Cental Office)... l2tp server work fine, all tunnels work fine and in my clients I have l2tp virtual interface on with IP assigned from server (ex. site 8 receive 10.0.8.100 from server and the vpn have 10.0.8.1 on server side...). From Client MT I can ping 10.0.8.1 (server) and from Server MT I can ping Client (10.0.8.100). Now my question... how I can bridge l2tp virtual interface with eth ports? I need that 10.0.8.x IP class is available on clients eth ports... Someone can help me? Tnx and excuse me for my english... :(

I think you need some additional routing rules.

See this wiki article.
