i was using webproxy for my 1000 pppoe broadband clients. here i used sata 250 Gb hdd. router os v3.13. When cache fill up 70% of HDD, that time browsing speed is so slow but download speed is fine.

What abt ssd?? Can i use it on cache drive instead of Hdd??? Now a days 250 Gb sata ssd or PCI-Express-based ssd is available in market.

please use the latest RouterOS version as we have optimized the Web-proxy operation.

note that you can also use stores now, and tell the webproxy which drive you want it to use as a primary and a backup.
