Changing the default script

Thu Jun 11, 2009 9:07 pm

I am trying to change the default script on a bunch of our mikrotik routers. I have read up on it and from what info I can find I use the netinstall and then I upload a rsc file by clicking the config script and selecting the rsc file. This works on the initial install but once I reset the router 2 times to test to make sure it takes I lose the default configuration.

Can someone link or point me to the correct way to upload a default configuration for a mikrotik so the when I issue a setup->reset->yes it goes back to the default config I uploaded?

Thanks

the method you mentioned should work fine. "system reset" loads whatever RSC file was installed with Netinstall
