how can i limit the connections per client (hotspot urgent)

hu guys
i want to know step by step how can i limit the connections per client becouse some of them have virus that keep sending and scanning

hello taloot,

How do u mean by limit connection? is it Bandwidth limt in terms of simple queue or HTB using queue tree or Class Based Queue, limiting traffic like HTTP connection, ftp ,icmp ?...pls clarify yourself.

Hi guys,

I have the same problem with limiting TCP and UDP interclient traffic.

You can try this.

place an ip firewall rule on the hotspot-temp to drop all traffic on ports 137-139 for all protocols. Your Windows clients will never see anybody on their net neighbohood. I would assume that you really want to block inter-client traffic for all users. Hope this helps
