RADIUS accounts by volumme

Tue Jun 07, 2005 7:10 pm

Hi,

I test the MT RADIUS attributes:

Recv-Limit - total receive limit in bytes for the client
Xmit-Limit - total transmit limit in bytes for the client

and they don't work. Moreover, section AAA don't appear in the v2.9 manual. May it be possible ??? I want to create volumme prepaid accounts in RADIUS.

Have you confirmed that they're being sent from the RADIUS server? I suggest using the radtest utility (if you're running on Linux) to check.

Also, if you're using 2.9, the Rate-Limit attribute is MUCH more flexible, and works with Hotspot/PPPoE/pretty much everything.

I suggest grabbing the Mikrotik dictionary file and giving that to your RADIUS server. It solved several goofy problems I was having.
