can anyone tell me the advantages of using mikrotik over sonic firewalls? answers will be greatly appreciated, thanks

All true; just be aware that the Sonicwall is ICSA and EAL4 certified, which I believe the Mikrotik is not.

In the real world, this doesn't matter at all, but in the world of the manager it might mean everything -- just be sure you're aware.

I am being forced to pull mikrotik from TWO locations due to the lack of the magic "ICSA Certified" label. What would it take to get this certification? Has anyone tried? Does anyone have any idea where to start? Is it reasonable to wish for such a thing?

Unsurprisingly, it's completely up to the product vendor - put in an official request with support, I guess.
