Feature Request - USB GPS

this already works, just get one that has the prolific chip in it. the microsoft gps works fine on mine.

cant mikrotik add this to new board layout decine

so there is no need for extrnal gps?

Not all uses the GPS, and it's best with a external GPS since you can get a better signal...

But where are you located? maybe someone can send you one og point you to a place to get one...

I´m trying with a Garmin GPS18X ... (I suppose it´s the most popular USB GPS)

It´s that compatible ? or Where can I see compatibles USB Devices ?

it needs to be NMEA based. I don't know if Garmin is some proprietary format. I wil ltry to find the model that I am using with good luck.

Garmin 18X USB is not NMEA :(

And nothing is detected when I plug it on the USB port... that´s normal ??

Also AmbiCom Model GPS-USB works...

Not the MOST sensitive, but it works... would be fine with little "overhead" structure.. IE not in a lover floor of a multi floor building...

Remember to use 4800 baud for the AmbiCom usb port...
