PPtP Client timeout...

Mon Sep 28, 2009 1:35 pm

Hi,

I want know if it's possible to set PPtP Client connection timeout.
In other words, I have a CPE with two PPtP configured, the PPtP server have two DSL connections, the first for abitual work and the second for backup. All work fine but when the first DSL goes down the CPE start second PPtP after about 90 secs because first PPtP connection goes down after 90 secs in CPE... It's possible to modify this time? 90 secs are too long...

I hope You understand.. my english isn't good :(

tnx

Paolo

hi chupaka, tnx for reply.

The check GW in PPtP server (the only with two GW) is enabled, when first GW goes down the second start and the PPtP1 connection are killed immediately... on the server, but in the client the PPtP1 link remain up for about 90 secs... when it goes down the second PPtP link can goes up....
