Max connections

Wed Oct 07, 2009 9:29 am

I plan to implement RB450G with Router-OS L4 license in one company. They want to use it for Internet firewall and web-proxy. They have something like 150-200 users, most of them simultaneous. Is this router capable with his hardware and OS license to manage this number of users.

Yes, there should be no problems. By the way, RB450G comes with a Level5 license.

Well, probably my distributor is wrong with placing the bad specification in price list.

Thanks!!!

I just checked some of my production RB450G and they were having License4, after I use upgrade license option, and now they have License5. I hope this is correct and legal.
Is this upgrade free?

Yes, that's correct and legal. All RB450G can be upgraded to Level5 for free.
