xbox live and upnp on MT

Tue Oct 20, 2009 5:25 pm

Am looking to put in a MT to service approx 200 users(basic hide nat with private network behind it), some with xbox/ps3.... My questions is does the MT support the xbox live upnp? I do not have an option to port forward to all the xbox/ps3 users. Thanks...

So far... good luck...

Has been a while, but I never got it working...

It has been quite a few releases since I tried it, but I got a linksys for my XBox360...

maybe you both could run sniffer when the Xbox tries to request the NAT rules to be made, we could see if there is something different than any other UPNP device (which work)

Got RB 750 as home router and RB 411 as 5 GHz CPE. Both have UPnP enabled and Xbox Live connects without any problems. Ports are forwarded automatically and properly.
