What are you asking? What switch feature?

The switch chip has been supported since the RB493 came out... with version 3.x and every version since.

Ahh thanks, that wiki explains the problem well.

The RB493 and 493AH use the IP178C switch chip which is an 8 port version of the IP175C.

They both fit into the 'other' category in the wiki. I have seen the data sheet on these parts and there is some VLAN capability so it is possible that Mikrotik might add support in ROS for it.

Unfortunately RB493 supports only port switching feature. Currently there are no plans for other feature support for IP178C or IP175C switch chips.
