Hi all

i have RB800 need to upgrade it from OS4.2 to 4.5 .. i have downloaded the new packages from Mikrotik web site and past it in the file list via winbox and then reboot the RB800 ,, the new packages now uploaded to the file list but the OS still show 4.2 , bellow the results :

Did you reboot with 'system reboot' or just remove power and power back up?

I upgraded a pair of RB800s with the PPC combined pacage without problems.

i did through system--reboot ,, i also after that when its not upgraded turn it power off and on and both are same ..
but the package i download it is " All packages " not the combined packages .. is this affect ?

Does the log says anything like "broken package"?

yes, in '/log print' you will see the reason

You only need to upload routeros-powerpc-4.5.npk and then reboot.

if that a Folder I see?

RouterOS doesn't support folders

upload all NPK files to the root level of the file tree.
