different Usergroups with PPPoE + Freeradius

Thu Mar 04, 2010 3:05 pm

Hi!

I like to create different Traffic Priorizing based on a reply from radius-server. I can't find any reply witch the MikroTik RouterOS (4.5) understands to give an PPPoE user a other Querue Type or other option what would give an user for example a specific queue tree.

Could please someone help me sloving this problem?

you may use 'Address-List' parameter from RADIUS, and then create necessary static queues

Queue per IP? I think about it, but throw it away. We are using a dynamic IP Pool. Pushing all informations with help of a MikrtoTik API would work, but I think many faulty queues would be the resoult of it...!

Okey, using Per Connection Queues - but how do I put the users in different groups?

you may use 'Address-List' parameter from RADIUS
after that, every connected user will be dynamically added to appropriate address-list

The adress will not dynamicly added to the adress list - I don't see any effect while using this on our Router.

Reply from Radius-Server:
Mikrotik-Rate-Limit = "1M/1M 2M/2M 1M/1M"
Address-List = "PowerUser"
Framed-IP-Netmask = 255.255.255.255
Session-Timeout = 86400
Framed-Compression = Van-Jacobson-TCP-IP
Framed-Protocol = PPP
Framed-IP-Address = 10.0.0.110

Do you have news "More then one list MIKROTIK_ADDRESS_LIST" from RADIUS in ROS 4.X or ROS 5 beta?
