We were wondering if MT had any plans to implement the OpenSSL FIPS compliant module (http://openssl.org/source/openssl-fips-1.2.tar.gz) or if you already have?
By implementing this validated version of openssl and corresponding patches to openssh that forces limits to algorithms used to only those approved under FIPS 140, MT could then submit RouterOS for validation (or any integrator could do the same) and know that they would pass.
This would allow head to head competition with Avalan, Cisco, etc who all have validation tests on file already.
Thoughts?
