ROUTING-TEST Disappeared in 2.9.2? HELP!

Wed Sep 14, 2005 6:36 pm

Help - what happened to ROUTING-TEST package in 2.9.2? Has it been replaced into production or is it not included anymore?

Check the download page..
It is below the All Packages area.

I think it was pulled out because users were having issues with std and test packages both ending up being pushed out to the router and were having installation / upgrade issues.

maybe use system upgrade feature? it will select the needed packages for you from your local ftp server if you put a newer version there.

Nice idea, but you have to have the file in the 1st place...
If the file location from the vendor changes and you dont see it, it wont make it to your FTP server,, :)

No biggie, he just didnt see that it had moved..

Have a GREAT one !!

I've never been able to get the system upgrade feature to work. I'd like
to be able to upgrade one router in a network then upgrade the other routers from the first. Does it have to be on a non MT ftp server? When ever I've set the server on the remote the local says no new revison
available or similar So what am I doing wrong?

do you mean 'auto-upgrade' ?
Paste new packages to one of your Routers, configure it addess as primary server in other Router.
Than push download.
