M3P performance

Does anyone use "ip packing" (M3P)? If so I'm interested to see what sort's of experiences people have with regards the different settings. Do you need a beefy CPU to run compress-all? If so what's the minimum? I using compress-all do it add any latency? Does compress-headers make a great deal of difference and again does it introduce any latency? We are looking to add ip packing on our EoIP tunnels but want to see if it's a good idea before we try it ;)

In adition to this, we will be bonding eoip interfaces together so for the best effect, should ip packing be enabled on each eoip interface or the bonded interface?

I would think that a single "packing" would make more sense..

It you pack eack EOIP then you have to unpack each packet before it can be re-assembled from the bonding group.

I would think that packet compresion then distribution accross the bonding would be less load then distribution then compresion (multiple threads).

Just my two cents worth...
