Does SSH need to be more secure

Tue Sep 27, 2005 6:14 pm

My boss seems to think that since the ssh server on the Mikrotik box sends a key when trying to login, this is a security hole. Is there anyway to break that key and get into the server. His big concern is that anyone that tries to login via ssh and is allowed by the firewall of course gets issued that key.

It's the public key it is sending, not the private key. If SSH was that unsecure you think anyone would use it? : )
