WOL Wakeup On LAN

Hi!
Try to use WOL feature at RB433AH but it dont work at all.
RouterOS v4.16.
target pc at eher1 interface (through switch).
im trying this command : tool wol xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx interface=ether1
but nothing happens ..
then i trying to wol from other Windows PC via free tool "Advanced IP scanner" (www.famatech.com) and PC is waking up succesfuly.

Does anybody used this feature successfuly through RouterOS?

correct command would be
/tool wol mac=xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx interface=ether1

Wake on Lan is an etremely simple packet.
If it does not work, I would recommend testing the capabilities of your device you wish to wake using a PC application on the local net of the device.

There are MANY free WOL packages with source code available.

The poster already said he's tested it using other software and it works, I think his point is, that his use of a Mikrotik device didn't.

Yes but is the interface on the particular RB433AH physically connected to the local network in which the Device he wishes to wake resides?

Have a look at a WOL packet....
There really is not alot that can go wrong.
