how to block user with gateway address

Hi

i have problem with one user (hacker??) who have address same as gateway how to ban him??

he is stealig mac address from access list and connecting to wlan

any suggestions??

please help

yes this is an intersting topic also what if someone used the ip adress of the server how to solve this problem or how to kick him out cause one a costumer used the ip address of the internal ip of the mikrotik and gave me a head ache

Why don't you also use an authentication method such as pppoe, that way the hacker will have to authenticate with a userid and password as well and get an ip issued to him from the pool, that will make it much more difficult for him to get to the wlan.

if you agree with authentication methods, you can setup HotSpot gateway (authentication and user's management).

im using auth mac and auth mac pass and the arp i set reply-only so that only aa:bb:cc:dd:ee:ff have only one ip that can not change
i like it
