ipv6 6PE ?

Sun May 01, 2011 11:28 am

hi guys,

just tried to setup 6pe:

on one side there is an cisco v6 enhanced router on the other side is an rb433 with version 5.2
in the routingtable the next hop informations are correct, but router-os is doing something wrong for v6 label advertisments?

my cisco receives one prefix bit it will be not in the routingtable installed. - error as following:

May 1 10:22:36.460 MET-DST: BGP(1): xx.xx.xx.225 enqueued default-originate update
May 1 10:22:36.464 MET-DST: BGP: xx.xx.xx.225 unspecified nexthop :: (::)
May 1 10:22:36.464 MET-DST: BGP(1): xx.xx.xx.225 rcv UPDATE w/ attr: nexthop ::, origin ?, localpref 100, originator 0.0.0.0, path , community , extended community , SSA attribute
May 1 10:22:36.464 MET-DST: BGPSSA ssacount is 0
May 1 10:22:36.464 MET-DST: BGP(1): xx.xx.xx.225 rcv UPDATE about 2001:xxxx:21xx:AB:AA:AA:AA:2/128 -- DENIED due to: martian MP_REACH NEXTHOP;

the main question is:
is 6PE already supported in 5.2 ?

thanks

hey again,

can somebody tell me if "6pe" is on the feature roadmap?

Hi,

Any news about 6PE implementation on Mikrotik?

Is this resource present in roadmap?

It seems RouterOS is recognizing IPv4-mapped, but still doesn't resolve it as next-hop:

The original poster who was on 5.2 posted that 10 years ago. Presumably they are no longer running 5.2 by now, 10 years later.

I also assume that no one else is running at 5.2. I, for example, am running 6.45.9, and even so there is no support for 6PE, as far as I know.

Fun Fact: Normis said that 6PE would be developed for the v6 beta. We are already in the v7 beta (and you know this beta took a long time to get out), and nothing.
