Nice Airport, nice city and I prefer a new city to visit. I visited almost all the other posible countries, I have not been in Latvia, ~ not been in Lituana.

Or we can go liechtenstaein and multiply the population.. xD

Alicante or Benidorm, Costa Blanca, Spain. Plenty of Hotels with off-season discounts.
Perfect location, restaurants, bars, sun and whatever more.
Several WISP's in some hours drive!
Central Spain thus easy access by car and close to one of the busiest cheap flights airports of Europe!
MT needs a good boost here, I see to much of this UBNT crap around me!
(And off course its only a good half an hour drive for me!)

(Ok, I would settle for Valencia in case Ibersystems doesn't like to drive too much!)

Oh, not in Spanish, English please! My Spanish is ok for normal conversations, for tech talks about Wifi and MT I'd prefer English.

Valencia is too expensive : P! I'll go to Alicante in 2 weeks to install the wlan in the port. Do you want to help me with the installation personally or with one technician? I will pay very well. My technician is on vacations..!

And what about the winter weather in North of Europe? You'd better of in Alicante! Best climate of Europe in the winter!

Can I request somewhere outside the Eurozone? Eastern Europe is good - not seen much of that and enjoyed Wroclaw and Prague.

Sorry, but this statement is wrong! Hotels in Hannover before or after CeBIT (outside exhibition time) are cheaper as we paid during the last Europe MUMs in the past! It*'s simple, there are much to much Hotels and also cheap private rooms available!

MikroTiks idea in the past was to combine the Europe MUM with CeBIT (Hannover) and also embedded World (Nürnberg) which was parallel to CeBIT in the past. So it can be very interesting for worldwide visitors if the MUM is near to this shows in Germany. We are exhibitor at CeBIT since years and meet a lot of people which visit also the Europe MUM, all these people can save a lot of costs for traveling then.

I'll second that - we're about to book next year's ski holiday and another clash with MUM would be annoying (unless, of course, you don't want me there...!).

As nice as Germany is, for purely selfish reasons (i.e. the GBP:EUR exchange rate), I'd rather not do anywhere in the EuroZone.

we haven't even decided on the city yet, and the dates will depend on availability of venue and other things. so, no date yet

That's exactly why I don't want to go to any country that uses the Euro. I only mentioned Germany specifically after your suggestion.

What about Vienna? Is near Germany and prices are like Budapest.

One more vote to Belgrade, Serbia. It's easily accessible from all over the Europe, western Asia and North Africa. Has good climate in winter and it is as cheap as possible.

Airport is in the city and there are lots of hotels all over the place.
