I can do mac authentication in 2.8.28 but can't make it work in 2.9.8, anyone else had this happen, or see what I've done wrong?

In version 2.9 password must be empty for mac login to work:
/ip hotspot user set "00:E0:B8:B6:5D:11" password=""

thanks - it would be helpful to note those kinds of changes in the manual since many users started with 2.8.
