Virtual AP

Tue Nov 29, 2005 10:55 pm

How many Virtual AP's can you have?

I have a AP that has 2 V-AP's and when I add a 3rd I lose all my clients on all other AP's

Using on this unit CM9 and 2.8.27

I found in the manual that you can have up to 7 VAP's

Does anyone have more than 2 VAP's running.

I am trying to add a 3rd VAP and when I do, all my registered users go away.

I don't think there is any hard limit for the number of virtual APs.

7 VAPs is the max you can add to one WLAN interface, just tested that. Not sure if they all work though.
