I am having a problem upgrading my routerboard 532 from 2.9.7 to 2.9.8. I have downloaded the routerboard 500 .npk file and ftp'd it to the system. When I reboot i get an error in the log saying the package was invalid. What am i doing wrong?

I have seen this when the package is uploaded via winbox.

Try using the DOS / CMD FTP command (dont forget the BIN command)

I have found that DOS FTP seems to work best.

Thank you very much - the DOS binary mode did the trick :D
