I lose time, date, and graph data when i reboot RB450G

Getting tired of losing all my graph, time, and date data when I reboot my 450G ... How do I fix this little problem?? Or, can I???

None of the Routerboards have persistent clocks so when you reboot they'll be reset to default. That's why it's important to set up NTP when working with them so your edge router can pull time from the Internet and then distribute it within your network.

As for graph data, it's memory resident so you loose it when you reboot. If you want something more persistent then you'll have to set up something external like MRTG.

well this answers my question. what a pain in the ass. really defeats the logging features when it tells you the system crashed and gives you jan 1st 1970. I hope they will change this and keep clock time so when crashes or reboots happen we can get an accurate time the event happens.

For graphing you can choose to save to disk instead memory so after reboot you will still have your data information
