Question about load balancing and auto switch failover

Hi Guys
I have a question about load balancing and auto switch wan failover is there anyway to do this in-case one of my wan connections go's down and the other wan automatically switch over without any problems?

hi
you can do this with distance in ip route.
you must create 2 default gateway,and set distance parametr for each.
for first you set distance=1 and for second set distance=2 and set check gateway with ping.
with this config if first gateway is down,then second gateway aoutomatic is up.

Ok is this done with a script or without script? If there is script can somebody post the script? if without a script out can I do it?

not it is not a script. It is in the route settings.

You asked how to auto switchover. The answer was already given to you. Have two default gateways and to give each one different distances. Do you understand routing and how route tables work? Are you asking for a step by step guide on how to edit two static routes in the route table on your router?
