www.mikrotik.com IPv6 connectivity broken?

Tue Apr 10, 2012 11:56 am

Hi,

I have noticed problems with reachability of the http://www.mikrotik.com web site over the IPv6 connectivity. DNS query for http://www.mikrotik.com returns AAAA record without any problem. But the target network is not reachable. I did some tests from two independent locations with native IPv6 connectivity with no luck.

It looks like serious trouble with 2a02:610::/32 prefix BGB delegation. Does anybody else such problems with http://www.mikrotik.com IPv6 reachability?

2a02:610::/32 does not seem to be globally visible in the global routing table the moment, testing from a few locations and third party route-servers/looking glasses.

https://stat.ripe.net/query/visibility- ... 2:610::/32

Hm, so AAAA record should be removed from www.mikrotik.com DNS. This way is Mikrotik web poorly available for nodes with dual-stack.
