High latency while downloading.

Sat May 05, 2012 5:29 pm

Hello
I have a problem with high latency, when I start download large files or download via torrents. Someone told me it could be a problem with wifi settings. So I tried changing settings but without success. Could I please ask for advice?

The link is good and configuration ok, what size of data are u downloading? it is in excess of 10mbps?, which wireless card do you have on the radios? is it mikrotik or which make? Also you can do a bandwidth test to know the real capacity of the link itself between the radios.

- Downloading data have hundreds of megabytes, but the ping will be high at any size of data, if I download more than 30 seconds.
- Maximum download speed is 10Mbps. Ping is bad about 200 kbps
- AP is Mikrotik RB411AH, card is RB52n <--------> RB711 receiving data.
- bandwidth test show me 25Mbps
