Saving Mikrotik stats

Fri Jul 20, 2012 1:01 am

Is there a way to save the various stats during reboots ? Specially for queues & interfaces. I'd like to be able to get an idea on the total bandwidth used up by each queue & the PPPoE interface as well, however any reboot or power failure results in a complete loss of data. Additionally, a simple queue has a "statistics" page and "total statistics", why is the latter always empty ?

/tools graphing is your friend! Its very easy to configure it.

Also, search for "cacti" in google, is another system for save ( but so hard to configure, at least for me)

Regards!

I already have it set up however graphing does not show an important number, total up/down bandwidth consumed, it just graphs the rate of consumption.

For that, Traffic Flow is the best: http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Manual:IP/Traffic_Flow

Is there no other way to do it within the mikrotik server ? I'd have to setup a 2nd box just to recieve this data ?

edit:
specially since this number already exists within MK, its just erased on reboot.
