Why RB44Ge?

- Its 1/3rd the price of an Intel i350

- You can get more help from Mikrotik support

- It will display full stats in Winbox (packet size distribution)

I tried old RB44G and I have high CPU utilization on ethernet in profiler and packets drop.
I use HP ML350G5 with Xeon 4505 (Quad-2GHz) and it's much slower with this card then RB1100AH.
Is it because of virtualization (Proxmox) or because of ethernet card?
Any ideas?

I don't use virtual machine. Just routeros installed on a dedicated server.

Do you plan to make a full-height mounting plate available for this card? Some of my customers have asked for it. Not everybody has a low profile computer.

The RB44Ge looks like its full height. I've never seen a half-height card that can fit 4 full RJ45 ports on its faceplate...
