Is there any chance to set up this OVPN conf in RouterOS?

Fri Sep 21, 2012 4:18 am

Hello,

iam trying to set up this config on my Mikrotik:
client
dev tun
proto tcp
ca cachain.crt
remote xxx.xxx.254.253
port 1197
tls-remote openvpn.rz.uni-xxx.de
resolv-retry 0
connect-retry 15
connect-retry-max 2
nobind
user nobody
group nogroup
persist-key
persist-tun
mute-replay-warnings
tls-auth ta.key 1
auth-user-pass
comp-lzo no
reneg-sec 43200
its for an VPN connection to my University, would be much easyier for me to get it work on my mikrotik :)

has anybody a glue for me?

Greeting

Alex

did you import your certificate in the mikrotik?
Did you create an OVPN client with the proper address, login and password?
You are lucky that your university is using tcp as ROS only support tcp for ovpn. I don't see anything else that could block you to make it work.

well i copied them into my MT, and used System->Certificate to import it!
i have 3:
1: Root Certificate of DTAG
2: Certificate of DFN
3: Certificate of my University
but if i try to use one of the certificates i get "no certificate found"!
Did i import it corectly ?!

EDIT: i've imported cachain.crt !

Any debug logs, when you turn on logging for OpenVPN?

See: http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Manual:System/Log

It won't work. MT's implementation of openvpn dies not allow import tls key.
