I'm having issues getting UDP to move across a VPN. I've been doing some searches and it seems there is no confirmed resolution.
Setup:
a SXT has a wireless connection which is being hit by the PPTP client, the PPTP server is up and running on this SXT. Ether1 is connected to a device that is getting DHCP from the SXT (this is the machine that is sending out UDP broadcast) and the pool for DHCP is the same pool that is used for the "Remote address" in the Pptp profile. Ether1 is in a bridge by itself but the profile used by the PPTP connection is set to use that same bridge.
RSTP is on for the bridge along with proxy-arp.

Ping both directions through the VPN works but application that is used by the client seems to not be recieving the UDP broadcasts from the devices at Ether1.

Any pointers?
