Redundant link to customer from separate access point?

Thu Feb 14, 2013 8:53 pm

I would like to set up a redundant link to a high priority customer and I was trying to figure out the best way to do it. The customer has an RB1000 onsite and originally I thought I would use ospf since I already use that through my backbone.
The customers redundant link will come from a totally separte access point in relation to the primary link.
My question is, what is the best way to prevent ospf from routing my backbone traffic through the customers network.
I'll admit, I am a novice when it comes to ospf and I would hate to set it up incorrectly for this customer.

Is it a matter of creating another ospf instance and telling it only to redistribute the default route?
