Hotspot Page Modifications

Tue Mar 07, 2006 12:39 pm

Hi,

I am trying to make the hotspot servlet in 2.8.28 redirect to another page other than the one the user orginally requested. In the MT documentation it says how to change this to make it happen, however when I make the changes it makes no difference, the user still gets redirected to their requested page after login. The page I change is login.html.
What I want to acheive is a simple page that the user gets after login which shows the current statistics, how much time they have left, how much time they have used, etc, etc, then give them a button to continue on to their chosen webpage.

Has anybody experienced this problem before ??
It's a simple thing to do according to the manuals, but it just doesn't seem to work.

Thanks

Paul

I want to use 2.9 but I don't think that it will upgrade all of my firewall rules, maybe I'm wrong, but I have a lot of config and I know the format of the firewall rules and things are different in 2.9

Try it - install another router on 2.8.26 copy the configuration on it and try to upgrade, thats the correct way to do it!

Good point, that would be the logical way to approach it, I'll give that a try in the next couple of days.

Thanks
