CCR-1036-12G-4S disconnecting again and again

Wed May 15, 2013 12:45 pm

Hi,

I am facing some issues regarding CCR-1036-12G-4S. It is disconnecting again and again and I have to reboot the router to get it back working.
Once it is disconnected, I can not connect to it using anything (Winbox, Webfig, Console) and this happens randomly. It can happen after 5 min or after 30 min or after 1 hour, but this happens.

I upgraded to the latest Mikrotik version, still happening.

Currently I have "http://download2.mikrotik.com/routeros/ ... .0rc14.npk" installed on router.

Has anyone faced any issue like this.

after you are able to connect again, make a supout.rif file and send to support.

you might also consider connecting a serial cable, and check what is on the screen when it does that.

check if "mac server" is enabled for that interface.

[admin@MikroTik] /tool mac-server> print

Hi,

The device again got hanged... It is creating allot of issues for me now. I was planning to put this on production, but this behavior is creepy. If this happens in production, I really dont what what I will be doing.

If possible, please look into this issue.

You have not described the issue, or answered my questions. Please, we need more information from you, to solve your issue. Contact support with your supout.rif file from latest RouterOS version and problem description

Above is the issue, and I have already sent the "support.rif" file to support.

indeed it is enabled. just like the rest of my RB's. It does nothing when trying to connect via MAC through winbox now. IP connections are fine.

Same here.

Windows 7 Ultimate + MacWinbox doesn´t work. CCR-1036-12G-4S (RouterOS 6.1)

If I click in Winbox on "..." I can see the CCR and it´s Mac-Address but if I choose it, it simply do nothing ("Connecting to .....")

IP connection works.
