.npk to .zip

Sat Mar 18, 2006 7:20 pm

Hi Mikrotik guys, we have a request:

We want to be able to download .npk files contained into a .zip file, because a couple of times .npk's have downloaded damaged and when we upgraded our routers we have had kernel panics, so we needed to reinstall again keeping old configuration.

In zip format, everybody has the ability to double check the .zip file before upload it to a production router...

Anybody else agree with this motion?

Thks
Jorge

No, I don't see it. I will ask our support department to add an 'all packages' RB500 download.

Are you transffering files in binary mode. You should transffer your .npk files in binary ftp mode.
