Accessing internal IPs after connecting via VPN

Fri Jun 28, 2013 5:58 am

I am connecting from my phoone to my home network via PPTP, this is the secret config:
add disabled=no local-address=192.168.88.1 name=iphone4s password=xxxx profile=default-encryption remote-address=192.168.88.197 routes="" service=pptp
Even though I'm connected and everything is accurate when browsing on the phone (speed test, IP address etc.), I cannot connect to any of IPs on the internal network. What am I missing?

Go to your LAN interface (192.168.88.0/24) and search ARP then select proxy-arp

That was it! I was doing it on the wrong interface yesterday, setting this up on
bridge-local
worked a charm. Thank you!
