my dear,
when i activate "webproxy-test" in package list the "webproxy" package disappears, and when i activate only webproxy i get the two http proxy and webproxy!!!!!
And inside the mikrotik's manual v 2.9(
http://www.mikrotik.com/docs/ros/2.9/) we have two subjects:
1-http proxy and ,
2-webproxy
for 1 the manual says
"The MikroTik RouterOS implements the following proxy server features:
Regular HTTP proxy
Transparent proxy. Can be transparent and regular at the same time
Access list by source, destination, URL and requested method
Direct Access List (specifies which resources should be accessed directly, and which - through another proxy server)
Logging facility "
And for 2 the manual says
"The MikroTik RouterOS implements the following proxy server features:
Regular HTTP proxy
Transparent proxy. Can be transparent and regular at the same time
Access list by source, destination, URL and requested method
Cache access list (specifies which objects to cache, and which not)
Direct Access List (specifies which resources should be accessed directly, and which - through another proxy server)
Logging facility"
And u said"Using web-proxy test package (MikroTik proxy), you will get only 'ip proxy', that provides with caching facility."and "that web-proxy provides caching facility, but proxy doesn't."
So how webproxy provides caching and proxy doesn't?.
Then u said "you will get only 'ip proxy', that provides with caching facility."
For now i understand from the manual one thing that webproxy provides caching and http proxy doesn't provide caching.
So my question is what is http proxy exactly?and can i use it with webproxy at the same time?
