http proxy without disk-space

Tue Sep 07, 2004 8:55 am

hello,
is it possible to use the http-proxy feature to build a transparent proxy without (!) caching anything to disk?
this configuration would be useful for diskless MT ROS systems with enough RAM.

i tried redirecting to an external squid proxy also, but this doesn't work.

I'm using "maximum cache size = none MB" settings on ip > web-proxy
works perfect for my networks

If u runs low on memory disable system logging

Does the cache automatically empty when RAM is getting full?
