has 2.9.22 fixed 2 x 8602 on RB532?

I believe that it was not possible to run 2 x 8602 on same RB . Has the new 2.9.22 version fixed this ??

I'm not sure how you came by that belief.

We have had some issues with xMP-8602s, but those appear to be related to card revisions, and power settings / consumption. Not quite sure what to make of that, but most have been just fine.

Off hand, at one installation, I have 2 RB532s running 2.9.17, with 2 8602s each, running on 48v PoE, no problem.

At another site (not using PoE here), I have one RB532 with 4 8602s, 3 with 3 each, and 4 more with 2 each, all running 2.9.11, all with up-times of over a month, and no complaints.

We have quite a few others that have been running without problems, and a few that have had problems. It does not appear to be related to the version of MT being used, though.

Eric, are you confirming that you're running 4xNMP-8602 in RB532 with daughter board without any power issues? Is the board able to supply enough power? i'd like to know. Thanks

we are running 15 rb53s with 2 x 8602...flawless ly.

all DELL POE SWITCH -> POE SPLITTER (by pac wireless) -> RB

2.9.22

if its worth anything.
